Google Immersive Research EXPO Posters

Google had 12 computing teams within Immersive Arts and within DayDream. Each team was tasked with creating two info graphic sketches that were re-created in a line art style for each team. The IR EXPO made a bond in technologies that were able to cross pollinate ideas and make bigger ideas with a combination of shared research and synergy.

Exploring a system for all of the teams that would work as one single brand was a goal of mine. The challenge was some very complicated data visualization elements that were used to explain the technology in
a glance.

Skunkworks style

A few early round iterations that had a experimental style. There were 6 divisions inside Immersive Arts and each had a patterned element isometric hole grid that insinuated secrets behind the curtain, i.e. Wizard of Oz concept. The pay off poster would have been the same with a data visualization graphic on top.

Expo Branding Exploration

Google's DayDream teams had a diverse array of technologies. Some were based on VR and AR while had their products based in AI. These are some of the first round logos.
