Re-Branding Identity
Description:
Sunrun is San Francisco based provider of residential solar electricity. Re-Branding extended into a symbol/mark that would eventually be used without the wordmark lock-up once brand recognition was achieved. The creation mnemonic animation was added and I made a couple versions to be applied to broadcast advertising and web videos. A brand guidelines was created to ensure consistent brand usage across all channels. This included; palettes, logo lock-ups, website wireframes, application to peripheral marketing materials, such as a Solar Usage Management product app and equipment signage.

Peripheral Brand Elements

As this brand project achieved it's main goals, it in-turn uncovered multiple sub brand needs to identify and specify the functions of internal services and still maintain the overall brand ID. Naming these services and locking these alternate brand logotypes into an extended system was a 'phase 2' part which drew from visual assets of the primary brand.
